Broomall Rotary is pleased to have The Newtown Grill as a sponsor of the Firecracker 5k run. The annual Firecracker 5K is sponsored by Broomall Rotary Club and takes place on July 4, 2012. The run will immediately precede the Annual Marple-Newtown Independence Day Parade and take place on the parade route. The start time is 9:25AM. Runners of all abilities are encouraged to participate before the cheering parade spectators. The race proceeds will fund the Broomall Rotary’s charitable service projects. The Newtown Grill is an Italian Restaurant, Steakhouse & Grill. It has been in business since the 1950s. It was originally know as the Newtown Squire and later Alberto’s Newtown Squire.
Alfredo Giannaccari and Marco Tarantino along with their chef, Michael Rigney, have a combined experience in the restaurant industry of 90 years.
